Notably, the 2nd Chapter’s Tarantula batteries were configured to interface with Ultramarines’ command-vox protocols, permitting their targeting priorities and engagement parameters to be coordinated by officers of the Legion’s signals cadre. Under the direction of Master of Signals Carina Ventana, such deployments could be integrated into wider defensive fire plans, allowing the Chapter to maintain effective perimeter security without committing additional Legionaries.
