Middenheim Warband: The Carroburg Crows
The basis for this warband was entirely the amazing range of models I found via Black Scorpion Miniatures. They looked historical enough to not set off any of my “fantasy bullshit” alarms with the armor, or weapons, or outfits, but also didn’t feel so specific that they felt like actual historical miniatures. Skaven Warband: The Fangs of the Night-Dark
For my second warband, I decided on Skaven, since one of my long-term goals is do some narrative battle report videos, and Skaven are just sort of such an omnipresent force within WHFB and Mordheim. I also loved the idea of little rat men. Undead Warband: Court of the Pale Lady
For my first warband, I chose Undead because I liked the idea of having a very a central emotional and narrative figure, but I had trouble finding a vampire that I liked. There were some more monstrous vampire options available, which I liked, and then there were a whole lot of “tits out” vampire STLs available too. Then I found Annika, the Thirsting Blade and she was perfect, but just needed a new head to fit the Lahmian appearance, so I went looking for a suitably Frazetta-esque head.
