The Sicaran Arcus Tank Tertius Bellum (Third War) was reconstructed from the surviving components of three vehicles destroyed during the Betrayal at Calth. Its composite armour retained visible evidence of the fighting, including extensive thermal scoring and impact damage that the Chapter’s artificers elected not to remove during its restoration. The vehicle’s machine spirit was noted for its irregular responses to routine activation and maintenance procedures, a condition attributed by some of the Chapter’s Techmarines to the incompatibility of its salvaged systems. Despite these difficulties, Tertius Bellum maintained an exceptional record of combat effectiveness.
