Tempête Infernale (Infernal Storm) is employed primarily against massed infantry, entrenched positions, and troops occupying confined ground. Its Acheron-pattern flame weapon allows it to clear defensive works, streets, and strongpoints with sustained close-range fire before advancing through the breach. The chainfist is retained principally for dealing with hardened obstacles and armored targets encountered during the assault.
Scioness Olivia “Olive” Ismene
The youngest of the Ismene sisters, Celeste has spent much of her career in the shadow of Giselle’s seniority and Olivia’s public successes. She has developed a reputation for independence and a willingness to disregard minor points of protocol when circumstances demand it, traits tolerated largely because of her effectiveness in the field. Celeste is openly contemptuous of the campaign against Olivia and has made little effort to conceal that opinion. This has won her few allies among the House’s older factions, but has also made her the sister least inclined to compromise when the family’s honor is challenged.
